I defaulted on a home equity loan, last payment and last activity 12/1998. Since that time received no contact from the bank and it shows as a bad debt write off on all 3 CRs. It is listed as a secured loan and there is a lien on the title. If the Statutes SOL apply limit for debt collection? It is in Florida and there is no ruling filed anywhere. Can the lien be removed under the title?

June 30th, 2011 admin Hi all, I had a BK7 discharged in early 2000, and I feel I've looked at it on my credit reports ENOUGH!
There are no other TLs from the BK on my file, and I'm thinking about trying to get it removed, but the process intimidates me since it is a court document.
First of all, I see if you try to dispute it online with one of the CRAs, they want you to enter your Case #, date of discharge, etc. which I refuse to do, since they are the ones who suppo
